On Wednesday March 30, 2016 our friend and Kiama local, Brett Connellan, had a tragic life-changing incident. He was brutally attacked by a shark and left with severe injuries to his left thigh and hand.

Brett’s rehabilitation will be an extremely complex and challenging task and the associated medical expenses will be substantial. To assist Brett and his family to meet these expenses, there will be a fundraising event for Saturday, 25 June 2016 at The Shellharbour Club. This event will include raffles, auctions and a display of local artistic and creative talent.

While the level of support that Brett and his family have already received has been nothing short of amazing, we are hoping to build on this even further so that we can make his transition back into the community as easy as possible.

2. Donate to Brett's fundraising event

In order for the fundraising event to be a success, the organising committee is seeking donations from local businesses to be used as prizes for raffles on the night. The committee recognises that the success of this event will be reliant on the generosity of the local community and we are extremely grateful for any contribution that you are able to make.

Any vouchers and/or merchandise that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
